Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path…
Your statutes are my heritage forever;
they are the joy of my heart. Psalm 119:105, 111
As Christians, we are called to be disciples who make disciples. As the Body of Christ and as the local church, our primary tasks are to worship God and God alone and to raise up each new generation to know, love, and follow Christ. In our student ministry, we encourage our students to study the Bible corporately in Sunday School and small group Bible studies; and we equip them to read the Bible in their own personal times of study and devotion in order that they will develop a lifelong habit of turning to the Scriptures for instruction, encouragement, and formation.
Dates: Every Sunday
Time: 9:45 am – 10:45 am
Location: A300 Hall
Sunday School is a place where every student is challenged and encouraged to grow in knowledge and understanding of Christ’s Kingdom through thoughtful and prayerful study of the Bible. On Sunday mornings, our students are invited into a time of fellowship with one another and into classes prayed over and planned just for them. For our middle schoolers, we offer a class for each grade and gender so that they can have the sacred time and space to ask questions, learn, and apply the Truth of the Bible to their lives. Once our students transition into high school, we offer classes for each grade. In these times of study, as teachers, we seek to teach as much as to be taught. We are sensitive to the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit as we come together to study God’s Living, Inspired Word to us.
Mid-Week Bible Study & Worship
Dates: Every Wednesday
Time: 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
Location: Underground, A300 Hall & B300 Hall
Here at Trinity, our students engage in Mid-Week Bible Study and Worship together in small groups on Wednesday nights in what we call D-Teams and Northbound. We come together to worship God in fellowship with one another and to study the Bible in small groups with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Our D-Teams are each divided up by grade and gender in order to provide a welcoming environment for each student to study Scripture, to discover its application to their daily life, and to be discipled by loving, faithful adult leaders throughout their time here in the student ministry.
Fall & Winter Spiritual Retreats
As students grow in their walk with Christ, they are encouraged to continue to seek Him in times of quiet, rest, reflection, and retreat. Each year our students have the opportunity to spend retreat weekends finding joy in Christian fellowship, finding meaning in personal devotions and group studies, and finding hope in worship. Our middle and high school students retreat in the fall and winter months finding respite in the outdoors and finding sanctuary in the presence of God and each other.
