The Women’s Ministry of Trinity Baptist Church connects women from all generations through Bible study, prayer, encouragement, fellowship and service that will help women experience a life of joy and fulfillment that comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Women’s Ministry provides weekly activities and special programs that allow women to grow in their faith as together they study God’s Word, minister to our community, and foster interpersonal relationships beyond their Sunday morning experience.

TNT for Women

January 23- March 20

6:30 to 8:30 PM

Kick-off and Dinner on January 16 at 6:00 PM

Facilitator: Robin Roberts

Location: Chapel

The TNT, or Tuesday Night Tea, study this semester is titled Choices and Consequences, and follows the stories in Joshua and Judges to challenge our thinking about the choices we make in life, in our journey with God. This study also allows us to see God’s faithfulness in times of uncertainty and change, God’s invitation for all to participate in His work, and God’s wisdom that is available to us if just seek Him. It will challenge us to consider the depth of our faith, our sinfulness, our willingness to accept God’s grace, and our commitment to follow His lead.

TNT for Women meets for 9 weeks on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00. Women receive a notebook that contains the study passages, a commentary and questions for reflection. Each week we gather for a large group opening in the chapel during which we connect with one another, learn as a group and worship. Following the large group opening we break into small groups for discussion over tea. Individuals are assigned to a small group however we welcome women to come and start their own small groups as well.

The purpose of Tuesday Night Tea is to encourage women in their spiritual growth and development, create a space for sharing and prayer, and to facilitate strong relationships between women that are nurturing, affirming and supportive. Please join us this semester if you are not already participating in a small group bible study. The kick-off is January 16 in the fellowship hall at 6:00 with dinner. Our first study session is January 23. Please contact Melanie Cleary at  or Reenie Shore in the church office to register.

A 6 Week Excursion towards Intimacy with God

There Is No Quest Without Questions

The crooked punctuation mark at the end of a sentence speaks of curiosity, interest, and perhaps doubt. A question is an invitation to vulnerability, to intimacy. The Bible does not shy away from such an invite. Over and over we see the people of God asking questions of their Creator. We also see the God of the universe asking questions of His creation.

The Quest is a challenge to accept the invitation. In this six-week excursion with Jesus, Beth Moore uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best. Learn to dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him. Let the crooked punctuation mark be the map that points you into a closer relationship with the Father.

  • Learn to pray to promote intimacy with God.
  • Explore questions and responses from the Bible.
  • Track your quest by journaling along the way.
  • Learn to read and respond to Scripture

Thursday Night Women’s Monthly Book Club

Trinity’s Monthly Book Club is a fellowship opportunity for those who enjoy reading.  We read a chosen novel individually and meet the 3rd Thursday night of the month to discuss the book.  Together, we will discuss the characters, theme, and personal experiences related to the book as we deepen our relationships with fellow women.  Books can be picked up approximately five weeks prior to the discussion meeting.

Feed the Hunger Packathon

June 23, 2018

Fellowship Hall

Feed the Hunger is a NC based organization committed to addressing both the food distribution problem that prevents people worldwide from getting the nutrition they need, and the spiritual hunger faced by those in extreme poverty.  On June 23, TBC will host a Feed the Hunger packathon to pack 24,000 meals that will be distributed by Feed the Hunger’s international partner churches around the world, and by TBC missionaries traveling to Pine Knot, Kentucky this summer.

This energetic and fun project is sponsored by the Women’s Ministry, but anyone 5 years and older are invited to help pack meals for the hungry during the event.  Approximately 150 volunteers are needed to perform a variety of roles in the packing process, so there is a job for everyone! Sign-ups will begin approximately six weeks prior to the packathon.  Please check back for the registration link.
