Trinity folks, our Disaster Relief Trailer, Trucks and crew are in NJ this week doing tear-out recovery efforts in homes / churches affected by this storm.  This team will return on Saturday.  Another team, headed up by our Disaster Relief Coordinator, Louis Pearce will be leaving next Monday morning at 7am.  They will return the following Saturday.  If you can participate on this team, please contact Barry Smith at 919-562-3226 or bks11050@msn.com  – ASAP!

IF YOU CANNOT GO ON A TEAM BUT WOULD LIKE TO HELP, OUR NC BAPTIST DISASTER RELIEF ORGANIZATION IS REQUESTING THE FOLLOWING DONATIONS.  Please do not deviate from this list as these items are specific to requests from the areas affected.

Canned Food
Bottled water
Hygiene items  (soap, shampoo, deodorant, shaving supplies, toothpaste, toothbrushes, washcloths, etc)
Baby products (diapers, formula)
Cleaning supplies
NOTE:  Please make sure all items are new and in original packaging and please check all expiration dates on items before delivery.  Also, if you will place them in a box or bag it will help a lot.

At this time we are NOT accepting CLOTHING.

JUST BRING YOUR ITEMS TO THE CHURCH AND PLACE THEM IN THE PACK MAN BEHIND THE ROC.  ON THIS SUNDAY MORNING (11TH) THE PACK MAN WILL BE OPEN AND MANNED FROM 9:15am – 10:50am.  ON THIS WEDNESDAY EVENING (7TH), IT WILL BE OPEN AND MANNED FROM 4:45pm – 6:00pm.

We will need volunteers to drive a box truck load of these supplies to Red Springs, NC (near Lumberton) on Monday, Nov. 12.  If you can help load or drive the truck, please contact Rev. Melton at 919-787-3740 or hmelton@tbcraleigh.com.

Thanks, Trinity, for responding in so many ways to the people caught up in this disaster!
