She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2017 where she received her BS in Recreation and Parks Management with a concentration in Community Recreation and Event Planning and minors in Business and Drama. She also studied abroad at Manchester Metropolitan University in Manchester, UK, focused on arts and youth culture. After working in Parks and Rec and the wedding industry for a few years, she felt God calling her to be a minister. She graduated with her Masters in Divinity from Duke Divinity School in 2022, where she also earned a Certificate in Baptist Studies. She was called to Trinity Baptist Church in the summer of 2022 to serve as the Minister to Middle School and Family Connections. Before serving at Trinity, Claudia served at Winter Park Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC, Greensboro Urban Missions in Greensboro, NC, CBFNC, and Millbrook Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. She was ordained by Millbrook in March 2022.

Claudia feels that God has called her to love others in a ministry filled with vulnerability and humor. She loves working with young people as they explore their relationship with Christ and the Church.

Rev. Grainger-Sink currently lives in Apex with her husband Tyler, a Wake County local and chemical engineer. They have a Shih-Tzu named Ozzy. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, practicing yoga, stand up comedy, movie marathons, going to plays and concerts, and of course, supporting the Carolina Hurricanes. She is a sweet tea enthusiast and lover of all things pink.
