How Can I Help My Neighbor in Need?

All year, every year Trinity is busy serving in our community in so many different ways. During this time of public health crisis and food and financial insecurity for so many in our community, there are several ministries with whom we partner that serve directly with some of the hardest hit in our community.

Our Missions Steering Committee asks that first we all pray. Pray for food and finances amidst scarcity; pray for calm and peace amidst anxiety; and pray for Christ’s presence to be known through it all.

Here you will find a list of four of our partners helping our neighbors in need. We pray that you will find a way to be the hands and feet of Christ in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis. May the Church proclaim the name of Jesus in all times and places, and may we be the ones joining in God’s mission of love in the world.

Wake County School Partners

As the children in our area begin online learning, many who have limited access to technology and the internet will be behind the curve from the outset.  A partner through Welcome House Community Network has identified 20 families that would benefit from a family-to-family partnership to help the children and their families gain access to the technology needed to begin learning from home while schools are closed due to COVID-19 precautions.

If you are interested in serving in this unique way, please contact Lydia at for more information and to be connected to the coordinating social worker for these families.
