DESCRIPTION:This summer\, we’re heading to the heart of Appalachia to serve alongside two remarkable ministries in Kentucky. Whether you’re handy with a hammer or love to cook and connect\, there’s a place for you on this trip. \nBuilding Hope with Light Community \nOur Construction Team will roll up their sleeves with Only He Gets the Glory’s Light Community ministry. From framing and roofing to minor repairs\, volunteers of all experience levels are needed to help refurbish homes and community spaces. It’s a tangible way to reflect Christ’s love by providing safe\, decent housing for local families. \nTeam Lead: Mark Munday | 919-410-9426 \nFeeding Souls at Lord’s Café \nThe Ministry Team will partner with Crossroads Community Baptist Church to run the Lord’s Café “to-go.” We’ll prepare and distribute free meals\, then bring joy to a local nursing home with a spirited game of Bingo.
