This summer, our church will be walking through a sermon series entitled “People Jesus Met.” Each Sunday, we will be reminded of the ways that Jesus breaks into our lives as we are reminded of the biblical stories of holy encounters with Christ. And, each Sunday, we will be challenged to see ourselves in these stories. As a way of reflection, you are invited to respond throughout your week by letting us know how you have encountered Christ. There will be four methods of response. You may (1) Tweet your encounter at us @TrinityBaptistR and use the hashtag #peoplejesusmet , (2) email your response in 500 characters or less to ltatum@tbcraleigh.com, (3) snap a picture on your Instagram account of your encounter, comment with the hashtag #peoplejesusmet , and tag us @tbcraleigh , or (4) find one of our response cards in the Narthex just outside the sanctuary and tape them to our message wall that will be set up beginning on June 5.
We will be sharing your reflections as they come in here on this blog as a way to offer encouragement to our fellow brothers and sisters throughout our summer weeks. So, be looking, be listening, be noticing as God breaks into your everyday and you have the blessing of a holy encounter with Christ.
