Ministry Report: Stories of Prayer, Salvation, and New Beginnings

What an incredible season of ministry! God is moving powerfully through our teams, our partners, and the people we meet each week. From answered prayers to transformed lives, we are witnessing the impact of your prayers and support in Kentucky and beyond.

A Prayer Answered for Ellen

One of our team members recently met Ellen (name changed for privacy), a woman who had just lost her job and was discouraged about the future. She shared that she had an interview scheduled the very next day.

Together, we prayed in faith for God to open the right doors. And He did—Ellen was hired on the spot! This testimony reminds us that God hears and answers prayer. What a joy it is to walk alongside people in moments of need and celebrate with them when God provides.

Frank’s Story: From Fellowship to Faith

Another powerful story comes from Frank, a well-known face at The Lord’s Café. Frank is a freewheeling Harley rider who has been visiting the café for several years. Like so many who come, he found more than a hot meal. He discovered fellowship, encouragement, and prayer from staff, volunteers, and friends.

For years, people prayed with Frank and shared the message of Jesus with him. And now—we celebrate that Frank has placed his faith and trust in Christ!

Today, Frank attends worship services regularly, visits the café often, and shares his joy with everyone he meets. His smile, his eagerness to talk about Jesus, and his transformed heart are a testimony of what God can do. Hallelujah!

The Heart of This Ministry

While many may come for a free meal, they always leave with more—prayer, love, encouragement, and the hope of Christ. This is the true heartbeat of the ministry.
Each week, after preparing and serving food, our staff and volunteers gather for devotionals and prayer time. Every meal, every conversation, every act of service is bathed in prayer. And it shows—God is using these moments to change lives.

A New Ministry Vision: Victory Reigns

Recently, our team had the privilege of sharing a meal with Grant and Gina, faithful leaders who continue to follow God’s call. After dinner, Gina shared about an exciting new ministry that God has placed on her heart: Victory Reigns.
This ministry uses horses as a tool to teach about God and Jesus through interactive classes. Each session involves hands-on time with a horse, offering powerful lessons about trust, guidance, and love. Horses are also incredible companions for autistic individuals, making this ministry especially impactful.

Victory Reigns is a beautiful reminder that God can use all of creation—even horses—to draw people closer to Him.
