An Update on Our Church Website

by | Oct 15, 2025 | Churchwide

Our church website has received a thoughtful refresh designed to serve both our members and guests more effectively. In this message, Rev. Spencer Good shares how these updates honor Trinity’s traditions while helping us reach others with the hope of the Gospel—making our online presence a welcoming doorway into faith, community, and discipleship.

Dear Church Family,

I want to take a few moments to share about the recent updates to our Trinity Baptist Church website. As a congregation, we remain committed to honoring our traditions while faithfully reaching others with the hope of the Gospel. This website update reflects both of those priorities—preserving what is familiar while improving how we serve.

First, rest assured that all the tools and content you rely on—weekly bulletins, livestream access, the Member Portal, event registrations, and church updates—are still right where you expect them to be. Nothing has been removed or hidden. Every update was made with care to protect the familiarity and function that our members value.

A Purposeful Refresh

While the structure remains the same, the site’s new design is cleaner, more accessible, and easier to navigate—especially for first-time visitors. The refreshed layout helps people understand who we are and what ministries we offer at a glance.

This change isn’t about aesthetics alone—it’s about mission. In Matthew 28:19–20, Jesus commands us to “go and make disciples of all nations.” In today’s world, the first step toward discipleship often begins online. Our church website serves as a vital front door, helping people take their first step toward faith and community.

Evangelism Through Hospitality

We’ve also refined the language on our ministry pages to make them more understandable and welcoming for those unfamiliar with church life. This change embodies our biblical call to hospitality and outreach, as Paul writes in Colossians 4:5–6:

“Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace…”

The updated wording and design reflect the heart of Trinity Baptist Church—rooted in Christ, welcoming to all, and committed to spiritual growth.

A Role for Every Member

Each member of our congregation plays a part in this shared mission. One simple way you can help is by sharing our updated website with others—perhaps a neighbor new to Raleigh, a friend exploring faith, or a family member seeking community.

As Romans 10:14 reminds us, “How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” Our digital presence becomes a modern form of witness—an invitation for others to encounter the love of Christ.

Moving Forward Together

This update doesn’t signal a change in who we are. Trinity remains grounded in Scripture, centered on Christ, and committed to the Gospel. The refreshed website simply helps us communicate that message with greater clarity and reach a broader audience.

Our hope is that this renewed online presence will serve as a tool for both discipleship and evangelism—helping members grow deeper in their faith while welcoming newcomers into our fellowship.

Thank you for walking faithfully with us in this shared mission. I invite you to explore the new site and consider how God might use it—and you—to extend the reach of His Kingdom.

Grace & Peace,
