This year’s theme celebrates the rich and diverse musical heritage of the Tar Heel State, highlighting works written by composers with strong North Carolina roots and artistic ties to our local community. From traditional seasonal favorites to contemporary choral masterpieces, experience the warmth, joy, and vibrant storytelling of a true Carolina holiday celebration.

Under the direction of Bryant Moxley and accompanied by Kristen Allred on piano, the Chorale will be joined by a vibrant ensemble of guest orchestral instrumentalists.

Featured Major Work: Gloria by Michael J. Glasgow

The centerpiece of this season’s program is the captivating major work Gloria by acclaimed North Carolina composer and conductor Michael J. Glasgow.

Based in Raleigh, Glasgow is widely recognized for his dynamic compositions and contributions to the region’s musical landscape. His Gloria is a triumphant, high-energy multi-movement work that weaves together exultant brass rhythms, lyrical melodies, and festive choral harmonies. Bringing this powerful piece to life alongside guest orchestral instrumentalists creates an unforgettable, joyful centerpiece for our holiday program!

Admission is completely free for both events—no tickets or advance reservations required!
