By Robin Roberts-
At Trinity, women love to get together and talk. Whether it’s in the hallways after Sunday School, over an impromptu lunch, or at planned gatherings, conversation is part of who we are. These conversations often lift us up, challenge us, and make us laugh. They weave us closer together and remind us that we are not walking through life alone.
This fall, we’re inviting women into something even deeper: Holy Conversations.
So what makes a conversation holy? Dr. Jeff Roberts puts it this way:
“When you reflect on the life of Jesus, you quickly realize that most of His conversations didn’t take place in the synagogue or temple. His conversations were with everyday people… and in what seemed ordinary, they became holy and sacred.”
That’s what we want for our women’s ministry this fall — to recognize that even ordinary conversations can become sacred when Christ is at the center.
Two Opportunities for Women
This fall, Trinity is offering two discipleship studies just for women, designed to be spaces where conversations are not only meaningful but also holy.
TNT for Women (Tuesday Night Tea)
Began September 9
Tuesdays, 6:30–8:00 PM
Fellowship Hall
Tuesday evenings are for coming together, slowing down, and digging in. Our fall study will be Faith Under Fire: A Study of Daniel. Over the course of 14 weeks, women will gather for a joint session led by Robin Roberts and then break into small groups to discuss each week’s lesson.
This is more than just a Bible study — it’s a chance to build friendships, pray for one another, and see how God’s faithfulness in Daniel’s story speaks into our everyday lives.
Study guides are available in the Narthex.
Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study
Begins September 17
Wednesdays, 9:30–11:30 AM
C101
For those who prefer a morning gathering, our Wednesday study will explore The Way of Wisdom: A Study of the Book of Proverbs. This 8-week study features a video presentation and large group discussions led by Susan Burnett and Valerie York.
It’s an opportunity to pause midweek, sit with God’s Word, and listen for His wisdom in the company of other women who are learning and growing together.
Workbooks can be ordered from Amazon.
Why It Matters
Both studies are more than just scheduled times to open a book. They are spaces where women can:
- Encounter God through His Word
- Encourage each other through prayer and conversation
- Share life in ways that bring laughter, honesty, and grace
- Grow deeper as disciples of Jesus
In a world that often rushes us from one thing to the next, we need these holy pauses — moments to sit, listen, and speak words that matter.
