Discipleship
Growing as Disciples of Jesus
Discipleship at Trinity is an ever growing and learning process for non-believers to become believers and believers to grow through engagement, education and empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We offer age graded classes during Sunday Morning from 9:45am-10:55am. These classes begin with our youngest infants to our most mature in age and faith. We offer more in-depth classes on Sunday evenings, Weekday nights and Wednesday mornings. Periodically we may offer a seminar or advanced learning on a random weekend or weekday event.
Discipleship classes are specifically designed to address the needs of individuals as they seek to follow Jesus through all the challenges of life. The focus is to equip Christians spiritually and help them to deal with everyday issues.
Please continue to search our website for more specific discipleship offerings.

TNT (Tuesday Night Training): The Study of Hebrews
Time: 6:30 PM | Location: Fellowship Hall for men and C303 for women | Begins: September 8
Leaders: Dr. Roberts leads our men’s opening session and Robin Roberts leads the women’s opening session.
Description: The book of Hebrews is a book that is filled with both the beauty of grace and the demand of discipleship. Hebrews is a book that we sometimes avoid in the New Testament because it is not as easy to read as the gospels or some of Paul’s letters. There are mysterious passages and references throughout however, the book reminds us of the beauty of God’s grace through Christ and calls us to a deeper walk with Christ.
This is a small group Bible study for all adults. Our men meet in the Fellowship Hall and then go to small groups. The women meet in Rm C303 and then go to small groups. If you have never joined us for TNT, please consider joining us this Fall as we study the book of Hebrews.
Kickoff: The initial study begins on September 8 at 6:00 PM with a kickoff meal in the Fellowship Hall. Following September 8 all sessions begin at 6:30 PM
Wednesdays

Unoffendable
Time: 6:30–7:30 PM | Location: C305 | Begins: September 2
Facilitator: Amy Roberson
Description: A book study and discussion-based experience about the book Unoffendable.
Unoffendable by Brant Hansen challenges the belief that anger, and offense are unavoidable or even justified. Drawing from biblical principles, Hansen argues that Christians are called to let go of resentment, embrace forgiveness, and reject the idea of “righteous anger” in everyday life. Through humor, personal stories, and practical insights, he encourages readers to replace outrage with humility, gratitude, and grace. The book offers a refreshing perspective on relationships, emotional freedom, and spiritual growth, showing how surrendering the perceived right to be offended can lead to greater peace, stronger faith, and a more joyful, Christ-centered life.
The God Who Sees: Immigrants, the Bible, and the Journey to Belong
Time: 6:30–7:30 PM | Location: C305 | Dates: October 14–November 18
Facilitator: Ashley Glimasinski
Description: The God Who Sees: Immigrants, the Bible, and the Journey to Belong by Karen González weaves together biblical reflection, personal memoir, and social commentary to explore immigration through the lens of faith. Drawing on her own experience as an immigrant, González highlights the stories of displaced people throughout Scripture, revealing God’s consistent care for strangers, refugees, and outsiders. She invites readers to reconsider assumptions about belonging, hospitality, and justice while recognizing God’s presence in every journey. The book encourages compassion, deeper biblical understanding, and faithful engagement with immigrant neighbors in today’s diverse and interconnected world.
Reframing & Reclaiming Christ-centered Evangelism: Sharing our Faith Stories and The Faith Story Without Fear, Guilt, or Awkwardness
Time: 6:30–7:30 PM | Location: C306 | Dates: September 2–October 28
Facilitator: Randy McKinney
Description: The word “evangelism” often carries baggage that turns off non-Christians and Christians who want to tell their neighbors about Jesus. These sessions help us rediscover “witnessing” as a Jesus-shaped, grace-filled way of life. Through Scripture, storytelling, and practical tools, we’ll explore how friendship, hospitality and neighboring can become holy ground. You’ll be encouraged to see yourself as someone God can use to invite others into the joy of Christ. Whether you’re wary of evangelism or eager to grow in it, this eight-week journey will help us reframe and reclaim what it means to share the good news through presence, witness and invitation.
