Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry of Trinity Baptist Church fosters spiritual growth, encouragement, and strong relationships among men of all generations through fellowship, missions, and service.

Men’s Ministry at Trinity

The Men’s Ministry of Trinity Baptist Church purpose is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, strengthening of relationships and encouragement among all generations of our men. This is achieved through fellowship events, joining together in missions and service.

Throughout the year, our Men’s Ministry holds breakfasts open to all men where we have times of fellowship, song, devotions and learn information about mission opportunities and needs. Our emphasis for missions is to join our many Trinity Baptist Lead teams in their respective missions. A regular service project is to support our community through a clean-up of a section Six Forks Road.

Men’s Fellowship – Oyster Roast

Men, mark your calendars! On Friday, October 18, from 6:00–8:00 PM, our Men’s Ministry will gather for a special evening of food, fellowship, and encouragement.

We’ll enjoy a hearty Oyster Roast, complete with steamed oysters and a classic Low Country Boil featuring shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn. The event will be held outside the ROC—bring a lawn chair if you’d like to relax as we enjoy the evening outdoors.

In addition to good food and good company, we’ll be blessed by Rev. Randy McKinney, who will share a word of encouragement with our group.

This is a great opportunity to connect with other men in the church, build friendships, and be strengthened in your walk with Christ.

Come hungry, bring a friend, and join us for this special night of fellowship!

Men’s Ministry Breakfast

This event is on Sunday, November 9, starts at 7:00 AM. This is open to men of all ages, so feel free to bring your sons and/or grandsons. We will enjoy a breakfast cooked by our own Trinity men with song and fellowship lead by Testament. We will also hear from a guest speaker. Our Trinity Men’s Ministry Council asks that each person attending extend a personal invitation to at least two people to join the breakfast.

Note: We will end the breakfast in time for those who need to return home for family and to attend SS and the 10:55am worship service. Those who are attending the 8:45 am service are welcome to fellowship a bit longer until heading up to attend worship

Adopt-a-Highway Program

For more than 15 years, the Men’s Ministry has been involved in a quarterly clean up of a two-mile stretch on Six Forks Road (from Lassiter Mill Road to Sandy Forks Road). Not only does this help to beautify the area, but it also saves taxpayers money. Our involvement in this program is one of the ways we follow the call of Christ to love our neighbors.

The Trinity Times

At Trinity, we believe stories and reflections are a powerful way to see how God is at work among us. Below, you’ll find blog posts written by our pastors, staff, and ministry leaders. Each article connects to the life of this ministry, offering encouragement, updates, and opportunities to grow in faith. Take a few moments to read, reflect, and join the conversation of what God is doing in and through our church family.
When You Feel Like Giving Up

When You Feel Like Giving Up

On Sunday, August 24, Dr. Jeff Roberts concluded our summer series Vacation Spots of the Old Testament with a message titled “A Place Called Regret.” Preaching from Psalm 137, he reminded us that God’s people, carried into exile, sat down by the rivers of Babylon and hung up their harps — choosing nostalgia, apathy, and bitterness instead of faith. The question they asked is the same question we still wrestle with today: How do we praise God when life doesn’t make sense? The answer of faith is simple, but not easy: sing anyway. If you’ve ever felt like giving up, this message is for you. Watch the full sermon on our YouTube channel: Vacation Spots of the Old Testament: A Place Called Regret.

Finding Joy in Recreation and Ministry

Since stepping into the role of ROC Director in February 2023, life has been full of tournaments, camps, and community events—but more than that, it’s been about ministry. From children’s basketball games to welcoming adults of all ages, every activity at the ROC is an opportunity to build relationships and share the love of Jesus in meaningful ways.
