Welcome to Trinity Baptist Church!

I am so glad you have chosen to visit our church’s website. Trinity Baptist Church is a vibrant and growing family of faith. Our church was formed in 1956 by a small group of Christians in what would someday become the North Hills area of Raleigh. During our history God has blessed us beyond measure, and we have had the opportunity to welcome thousands of people into our fellowship. Now we sense God is doing something new in our church. As the North Hills area of Raleigh is experiencing transformation so our church is transforming into the community of faith that can continue to be a place of community and service to North Hills (Midtown), North Raleigh, the Triangle, and the World. Trinity is an intergenerational congregation that values worship, fellowship, spiritual formation, ministry, and missions. At Trinity you will find a warm welcome and an authentic concern for you and for others. If you are looking for a church where you can discover God’s presence, grow in your faith and discover ways you can make a difference in our world then I invite you to join us. Join us as we Join Hands with God.

God Bless, Dr. Jeff Roberts

Each article connects to the life of this ministry, offering encouragement, updates, and opportunities to grow in faith. Take a few moments to read, reflect, and join the conversation of what God is doing in and through our church family.
When You Feel Like Giving Up

When You Feel Like Giving Up

On Sunday, August 24, Dr. Jeff Roberts concluded our summer series Vacation Spots of the Old Testament with a message titled “A Place Called Regret.” Preaching from Psalm 137, he reminded us that God’s people, carried into exile, sat down by the rivers of Babylon and hung up their harps — choosing nostalgia, apathy, and bitterness instead of faith. The question they asked is the same question we still wrestle with today: How do we praise God when life doesn’t make sense? The answer of faith is simple, but not easy: sing anyway. If you’ve ever felt like giving up, this message is for you. Watch the full sermon on our YouTube channel: Vacation Spots of the Old Testament: A Place Called Regret.
Finding Joy in Recreation and Ministry

Finding Joy in Recreation and Ministry

Since stepping into the role of ROC Director in February 2023, life has been full of tournaments, camps, and community events—but more than that, it’s been about ministry. From children’s basketball games to welcoming adults of all ages, every activity at the ROC is an opportunity to build relationships and share the love of Jesus in meaningful ways.
