Welcome to Trinity!

I am so glad you have chosen to visit our church’s website. Trinity Baptist Church is a vibrant and growing family of faith. Our church was formed in 1956 by a small group of Christians in what would someday become the North Hills area of Raleigh. During our history God has blessed us beyond measure, and we have had the opportunity to welcome thousands of people into our fellowship. Now we sense God is doing something new in our church.

As the North Hills area of Raleigh is experiencing transformation so our church is transforming into the community of faith that can continue to be a place of community and service to North Hills (Midtown), North Raleigh, the Triangle, and the World.

Trinity is an intergenerational congregation that values worship, fellowship, spiritual formation, ministry, and missions. At Trinity you will find a warm welcome and an authentic concern for you and for others. If you are looking for a church where you can discover God’s presence, grow in your faith and discover ways you can make a difference in our world then I invite you to join us. Join us as we Join Hands with God.

God Bless,
Dr. Jeff Roberts

Belong – Become – Be

Trinity Baptist Church is a family of baptized believers joining hands with God-belonging,
becoming and being-by proclaiming and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We welcome you to…

Belong in meaningful connection with the community of faith.

Become purposefully engaged with the family of faith: following the way of
Jesus through baptism, sharing life together and serving others.

Be a lifelong disciple of Jesus, growing in relationship with God,
joining God’s mission of love for the world.

NC Baptist Disaster Relief has been asked by Kentucky Baptists to assist in disaster recovery efforts in Kentucky following the deadly tornadoes. Our NC Baptist disaster relief teams are being deployed to Bowling Green, Kentucky to set up a disaster recovery site. NC Disaster Relief will deploy a small feeding team, a laundry unit, recovery unit, generator and chainsaw teams to do this work.

NC Disaster Relief will coordinate these efforts out of Hillvue Heights Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY. Thank you for praying, giving and going. Please pray for the people who were affected by the tornadoes as well as the volunteers who will be helping. Donations and volunteers will be needed.

Trinity’s Missions Steering Committee has voted to send $9,000 in funds to NC Baptists on Mission to fund relief efforts in Kentucky, and our own Disaster Relief Team is praying and discerning God’s call to go and rebuild.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Disaster Relief Team Coordinator, Louis Pearce at sylviawp@earthlink.net or (919) 395-2626.

To donate follow the link in bio or make your check payable to Trinity Baptist Church with “NC BOM Kentucky Disaster Relief” in the memo line.

We have all experienced grief over the past two years with loss of experiences, some of us lost loved ones, or some other kind of loss. As the church, we are called to carry each other’s burdens.

Join us Wednesday as we walk through grief during this Christmas season at the Blue Christmas services. 6:30pm in the Sanctuary.

Baby Jesus had yet to arrive but don’t these seniors look good at the Live Nativity? We love this tradition of our high school seniors singing carols to the children each year and getting a little one to play Jesus. Thanks Emmett! ...

Each year we take a moment to reflect and to honor our veterans who have sacrificially served our country. This year, we would like to invite you to bring in a framed photo of your veteran to include on our Trinity Family Table in the narthex. This may be a photo of yourself, your grandfather, your mother, or your brother or sister - whoever in your family has served in the armed forces. You are welcome to begin bringing these photos in on Wednesday, November 10 through Sunday, November 14 when we will display them for our church family to reflect, remember, and be grateful for their service.

Please be prepared to take these photos home with you directly after the 10:55a.m. service on Sunday , November 14.

Fall Fest is this Friday! We hope to see you there.

Rain plan will move everything inside the ROC with food served out of the underground.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another." -1 John 1:7

How can you build beloved community this week? How can you show someone hospitality?

Pray for our CBF field personnel who do this work everyday with populations who need it most. Pray that these communities will be kind, full, and abundant.

“And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt." -Deuteronomy 10:19

This week, pray for those migrating or fleeing their homes. Ask God to help the CBF field personnel that aid and minister to these populations. Ask God to help these displaced people to feel safe and welcomed.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and see that they get justice." Proverbs 31:8-9

Day 2 of CBF's Week of Prayer asks us to pray for the global poverty issue, including the CBF field personnel who are working with those experiencing poverty.

Can you take a few minutes to pray for this today? Can you think about how you can aid the poverty in your own communities?

“For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit." -1 Corinthians 12:13

This week, the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is asking us to spend a week in prayer over their offering for global missions. Each day we will pray for something different around CBF field personnel and what they are doing in the world.

We are all part of the Global Church. We are all part of the body of Christ. And we are in this together. Join us in prayer this week.

Church pizza night is this Wednesday at 5:30pm. We hope you and your crew can come and grab a few slices before church. Let us know you are coming at the link in our bio! ...

Do you have a heart for ministering to your neighbors during the holidays? If so, North Raleigh Ministries can use your help! This fall NRM plan's to host a Week of (Thanks)Giving Food Drive during the week of November 1-5. Your help is needed to accept donations of food items and to prepare holiday meal bags at NRM's Crisis & Development Center off Strickland Rd.

Once they have collected and prepared holiday bags for families in need, they will host a hunger outreach event, Thanksgiving Day at NRM, where they will give away holiday bags and share a message of hope with recipients at our Stony Brook Thrift Shoppe located off Brentwood Rd. This special event will be held on Saturday, November 20th from 11am – 2pm and they welcome help with setup and breakdown, greeting the community and handing out food.

If you would like to volunteer for NRM's Week of (Thanks)Giving food drive, donate, or volunteer for the (Thanks)Giving Day at NRM, reach out to Caroline at caroline@northraleighministries.com for more information.

We need volunteers! Sign up to volunteer for Fall Fest this October 29th. You can work part of the event and then enjoy part of it with friends and family as well.

Even if you cannot attend the event, sign up to bring a cake walk item the Thursday or Friday of the event to the church office. Link in our bio.
