Family Promise of the Triangle began in 1994 providing church-based emergency shelter and meals to Wake County families experiencing homelessness.

They now have programs in prevention, emergency shelter, post-shelter stabilization, rapid rehousing, traditional housing, and a New Lease on Life. All these programs help to accomplish their mission to end homelessness in the Triangle.

Churches participate in the Family Promise ministry by providing food and sponsoring activities for families in emergency shelter.

Trinity has committed to “hosting” families 3 times a year by:

• Donating money or Food Lion gift cards to be used to purchase meals
• Praying for the families, workers and volunteers

What is Vacation Bible School?

The purpose is to minister to children in the church, create outreach to the surrounding communities, and to learn more about Jesus and the Gospel. We do this through Bible lessons, music, missions, crafts and recreation!

VBS is for children ages 4 through 5th grade.

Join us also on June 22nd for Family Sunday School at 9:45am and the 10:55 service when the children will be sharing the songs they learned at VBS.

Who: Ages 4 years (as of August 31, 2024) – 5th grade (grade completed Spring 2025)

Volunteers needed: (Church members and regular attenders): Classroom teachers (5:30/5:45-8:15), dinner help (4:45-6:30), set up the weekend before.

Discovering the bigness of God in the smallest of things!

Magnified! VBS will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We can praise God together! We were made to magnify God!

We will be offering snack supper Tuesday – Friday that will be served 4:45pm-5:30pm. Parents/Guardians need to remain with children during snack supper. They can sign in their children for VBS beginning at 5:50pm in the Narthex.

Cost is $7 per person
Deadline to sign up and pay is June 11th.

Tuesday Evening: Chick-fil-a sandwiches, chips, and fruit
Wednesday Evening:  Pizza, Salad, and fruit
Thursday Evening: Hot Dogs, Chips, and fruit
Friday Evening: Pizza, Salad, and fruit
