Raleigh Rescue Mission

The Raleigh Rescue Mission believes that each person has Sacred Value because they are created in the image of God and have unique God-given gifts & abilities. Through the love of Jesus, they assist each person in finding their spiritual & practical purpose in life.

Since 1961 the Mission has provided a pathway for men & women, with & without children, who are willing to work their way out of poverty & homelessness. Raleigh Rescue’s New Life Plan has 3 phases grouped into Rescue, Restore and Re-entry aspects with the ultimate goal of each adult acquiring a Habitat House. For their kids, special emphasis is placed in the Child Development Center on their education & ability to thrive as adults.

The Mission believes that a relationship with Jesus Christ is essential to a transformed life. Therefore, the Gospel & its plan of salvation are presented regularly. Trinity supports Raleigh Rescue because it spreads the Gospel while offering Trinity Baptist Church members outreach opportunities, fellowship & fun which serve to encourage Mission clients.

Serving at the Mission has for years provided Trinity Baptist Church members an opportunity to combine outreach, fellowship and fun. And, our presence alone serves as needed encouragement for the residents & staff. For years individuals, Sunday school classes & OIAM teams have worked onsite at the Mission. Beginning in 2016 Trinity Baptist Church has supported the Mission through the Missions Steering Committee’s budget. Since 2018 Trinity has provided church-wide cookouts onsite and Sunday School classes have prepared & served meals there.
